Frequently Asked Questions

Will these change as the Covid 19 situation changes?
Yes. We will continue to adjust our policies to correspond to national and local recommendations. We will also work with school to make sure we are presenting our work in a way that respects and honors where we are performing and the best science based recommendations for safety.
What if we need to cancel?
We understand that these are uncertain times and simply ask that you provide as much advanced notice as possible. Similarly, if we need to suspend programming or cancel a performance we will work directly with you to reschedule the performance at no additional cost.
Will masks hurt the quality of the show?
We are working hard to ensure that the limitations of the moment do not impact the quality of professional theatre you expect from HTY. If you have serious concerns we encourage you to check out some of our digital work.
I
Is Tenney Theatre safe?

We are doing everything we can to ensure your safety. Our new ventilation system is state of the art technology providing more air flow and better filtration. We have 2 staff members who are now certified Covid Compliance Officers. We continue to adjust protocols as the situation demands, and we are in the process of certifying our venue with HealthyVerify. If numbers continue to increase with the Delta variant we may still pause school and public performances and reschedule when it is safer.

Will our family be asked to provide proof of vaccination.
Not currently. Since our primary audience is not yet able to receive vaccinations we will continue to require distance and masks for the safety of all staff and patrons.
