Under The Blue Experience at HISAM

Free! 30 minutes

Created specifically for young people with developmental disabilities and their caregivers

By Danica Rosengren and the HTY Ensemble, in partnership with the Hawai‘i State Art Museum and the Friends of HiSAM

Join us at the Hawaiʻi State Art Museum as we bring an art installation to life!

Dive deep down to the bottom of the ocean with us in this interactive, multisensory performance specifically designed for young people with developmental disabilities and their caregivers. In this space, audience members may make noise and move around when they feel they need to. We will discover who dwells beneath the surface of the sea and what adventures abound far below the waves!

Art pieces developed by Michelle Schwengel Regala, Solomon Enos and Meeka Fontaine
