Step by step
Created by Reiko Ho and the HTY Ensemble
Taking care of one another and making healthy choices can be fun for the whole family if you take it step by step, together.
Join the Gardener for a whimsical adventure about figuring out what you need to grow. Keiki will dance, laugh, and sing along, while learning about the importance of eating well, being active, and making time for those we love in this original production created especially for our littlest audience members.
Run time: 35 minutes
Health equity exists when all people in a community have the opportunity to achieve their full health potential regardless of race, culture, identity, education, the job they have, disability, or where they live. This show was commissioned by the Hawaii State Department of Health, Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion Division to foster healthy habits for all families and is touring to preschools, elementary schools, and libraries statewide.
In addition to this live stage production, HTY is also producing a half hour television episode around this subject (coming soon) and a series of educational materials, partner resources and more.
